Lately I have been seeing a lot of animal prints. Pillows, chairs, rugs, bedding...it seems to be everywhere! I think when done in small doses, it is tasteful and quite chic. However, I think too much of a good thing, is well, too much of a good thing!! My advice is to use the animal prints sparingly. A few pillows, a chair, a rug, but not the entire room wall to wall! I love animals just as much as the next gal, but I don't need to be completely surrounded by them!! What do you think of the animal print trend?? Do you have any animal prints in your home and if so, where???

I really like the animal prints as a possible side accessory, just not as a main theme in a room. They are usually too overwhelming for that. But, I love the pic you have of the carpeting on the stairs! Also, large pieces of furniture ususally do not look good with the animal prints, but the pillows or small furniture add a nice feel to a room.
I don't think I have anything animal print in my house. I do like a very small touch of it though. I worked in an Interior Design store in the 90's when animal print was ALL THE RAGE and I think I might still be getting over it. ;)
I have one animal print item in the house: some leopard-print ballet flats, which I got a few weeks ago. I think that's plenty! But I love the shoes. They are like a little exclamation point. In Breakfast at Tiffany's, Holly Golightly has a zebra skin rug in her living room; it's the wildest thing in the room but you barely notice it, maybe because it's on the floor. So, I'm all for animal prints but I agree that it needs to be just one small piece.
Thank you for sharring this
